Opinions: Save the Panda (and Make a Few Quid in the Process)

At the end of last year, Tian Tian and Yang Guang, two giant pandas from China made the long journey to their new home at Edinburgh Zoo in an attempt to help conserve this currently endangered species. However, Edinburgh Zoo has been struggling over the past few years and many animal rights groups believe the move is for purely commercial reasons. Is the zoo concerned with the Pandas welfare as a species? Or do they just want to improve their own fortune?
