In order to volunteer, many people fundraise in various ways to raise the money they need to contribute towards the project they have chosen to take part in. Often, the projects that they are volunteering within require flights in order to get there, and again fundraising can help provide some or all of the funds needed. Volunteers are turning to crowdfunding as a useful and successful way to gain sums of money relatively quickly.
This urban delight comes from Danielle Watts who's currently taking part in Frontier's South East Asia Ethical Adventure Trail, combining the backpacking delights of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam with volunteering. Concluding the road trip as the definitive way of travel, Frontier has recently established three new road trip projects that involve learning about the culture of a country whilst on the road with volunteering.
